The Kayf Tara gelding has developed into a top notch cross country performer over the past few seasons and has won twice this term both here and at Cheltenham. He filled the runner-up spot behind stable-companion Quantitativeeasing 12 months ago, and this appears a weaker renewal of the 4m1f marathon. Peter Maher has been Bolger’s main rival in this sphere of late, and handicap chaser Ruben Cotter is a recent addition to his team. Mtada Supreme caused an upset when beating Quantitativeeasing over the banks last year, and had a nice warm up for this when second to Coldstonesober at Fairyhouse last week. Love Rory is another previous winner here over the banks, while Treo Eile shaped well when runner-up to Enniskillen in the Ladies Cup on Tuesday.
