FormscanBy Michael Graham - Willie Mullins’ Aione has been chalked up at a shade of odds on by the ‘cream cookies’ at the time of writing and is the obvious starting point. He won his point-to-point by two and a half lengths at Dromahane back in May 2017 and is sure to know his job now that he starts out on his track career with Mullins. That win came on good ground, so this tough terrain is an unknown and he has the long lay-off to overcome. Therefore, he is passed over at short odds. Mullins also runs newcomer Miss Punch who is related to several multiple winners and could show up well. A horse with an each-way chance at 16/1 is BEEVERSTOWN BULLET who put in a good shift on his second run to be beaten just over half a length into fourth at Thurles. Ballyhot Boy finished sixth in that race and was very heavily backed. He is well worth watching in the market with improvement likely. Another with claims is Daphne Moon (a character in the excellent sitcom Frasier). She was backed from as big as 80/1 in the morning down to an SP of 25/1 before making a pleasing debut in third at Naas. Mcquinn showed plenty when third here before disappointing in Galway. He is not out of it if he can replicate his course and distance effort from June. Man On The Run won between the flags at Damma House this month and could be a lively outsider.
