FormscanBy Gary Carson - KNOCKMAOLE BOY would appear the one to beat after a good run on his jumping debut at Fairyhouse earlier in the month. He showed a good level of ability on the Flat and made a promising start to hurdling when chasing home Bleu Berry. He had odds-on stable-mate Chirico Vallis in behind then in a stronger looking contest than today's. Agent Boru was a decent third at a big price over course and distance last month and would look the obvious threat. That was a step forward from his previous hurdles outing and the form of that race looks pretty solid. Geneva Barracks wasn't helped by a couple of mistakes when fifth at Leopardstown last month and with a cleaner round of jumping could get closer. Mr Showtime ran a decent race when fourth at Naas last time but may have to settle for a minor role again. JP McManus has three runners in the race and Barry Geraghty rides the Eddie Harty-trained newcomer Beginningtogetup. Money for the Milan gelding, who is a half-brother to four winners, would be noteworthy.
