FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - These are decent horses to be gracing the stage at Roscommon in the month of August. Simenon has race fitness on his side, but you'd have to be a bit worried if you were in his camp, after he was turned over at odds of 2/7 on the level at Killarney last time. The Marju gelding was way below his best on that occasion, but it could be that he needs an obstacle in front of him to show his best at this stage of his life. We haven't seen Snow Falcon since the middle of February, but he's due the height of respect with his official rating of 148. As a course winner SADLER'S RISK will do for me, and he should be in a good place to face this assignment, back from competing over the larger obstacles. Aranhill Chief likes Roscommon but this is a big ask.
