FormscanBy Tom Weekes - RIP ROCKS PADDY OK has shown improved form over hurdles recently and comes here possibly the one to beat following an unfortunate mishap at Galway. Then, he was in contention when his saddle slipped approaching the second last flight and unshipped rider when in contention. He appears to be a progressive horse over hurdles and with a 125 rating, looks the one to beat. Hammerstein chased home Galway winner Lethal Steps at Downpatrick in July and while he finished last of the three runners then, nonetheless ran well enough. He has top weight today, but should be able to figure on his useful winning Killarney maiden hurdle form. Construct was a useful flat performer who did well to win first time over hurdles in Downpatrick in July. This is a tougher task, but he looks capable of more and should also get involved. Coolongolook was also a winner at Downpatrick in May and while he has failed to win in two attempts subsequently, should be capable of reaching the frame today. Jon Ess is rated 112 and comes here fresh and well from Galway, and is another who should get involved with trip and ground in his favour. Feel Des Mottes beat Morning Skye to win as Killarney in May but both horses have disappointed on their subsequent starts and come here with something to prove.
