FormscanBy Donal Murphy - DISPARUE caught the eye on her last start, and she should be up to winning a race of this standard. On what was just her second outing in handicap company, the daughter of Nickname kept on nicely from off the pace to finish a never nearer fifth to Gold Smoke at Tipperary. That was her first try at two and a half miles, and off a mark of 84 there should be plenty more to come from the chestnut filly. West Light was a disappointing thirteenth in that Tipperary contest, but did run well to finish fourth the time before that at Navan in September. He is tried in a hood for the first time now, and looks to have solid claims with ten stone twelve on his back. Celtic Monarch was a good third on his penultimate outing at Downpatrick, and he looks to have each-way claims for local trainer Mark McNiff, while others to consider are handicap debutants Paddy's Orient, Ancient Empire and Graineyhill.
