FormscanBy Gary Carson - COEUR JOYEUX looked a nice prospect early on but has proven expensive to follow and is aiming to break his duck here at the 18th attempt. He may finally be able to get over the line for the in-form Dempseys. He ran a decent race to finish third to Rosie Alice at Kilbeggan last time and a repeat of that run should be enough. The form could get a boost in the opener here with runner-up Penny Jane. Robin Des Mana looks the obvious danger on his chase debut. He ran in some decent maiden hurdles last season and wasn't beaten far on a few occasions. The testing conditions would be a slight worry for him, however. Danboru didn't run too badly in a hunters chase at Killarney back in May but this looks a stiffer test and he may be more at home in handicaps in time.
