FormscanBy Mark Nunan - CHURCHTOWN GLEN has been very consistent of late in handicap chases, and might take the last for Michael Winters and regular partner Donie McInerney. The Getaway six-year-old has been placed in three handicap chases at Wexford, and also ran well over hurdles at this course back in May. He might prefer further, but an attacking ride will give him every chance. Touch Base for powerful connections catches the eye and was second to Blow By Blow at Galway last October. However, he’s not been seen since, and might just need the run a bit. One Cool Poet has been going well on the Flat, but lacks experience in this sphere, while Carrigready is a fair sort over hurdles and can progress from his chase debut fifth at Limerick. Banjo hasn’t managed a win over hurdles, but if he can reproduce his third to Farclas on chasing bow at Roscommon, he’ll be very much in the mix.
