FormscanBy Gary Carson - SON OF REST looks the pick given the underfoot conditions having been impressive when taking a handicap at the Curragh on testing ground last time. He hasn't been seen out since that victory in mid-June but won first time up this year so a break isn't overly concerning. He looked a sprinter going places when winning last time and this looks a nice opportunity to move up a level. Ardhoomey is rated a couple of pounds below the selection but looks to set the standard on form. He has won with a cut before but looks better on a quicker surface, given his history of breathing problems, and may have to settle for minor honours today. Spirit Quartz has kept good company recently and his last two runs at the Curragh have been decent efforts. He may have a few pounds to find on ratings but looks capable of a big show. English raiders always command respect in these sprints but Green Door looks to have a bit to find.
