Water Sprite has been running well in similar handicaps recently and while she has obvious claims, has crept up the ratings now which won’t help her chances. Petuna was ahead of Alton Bay at Leopardstown latest and is further helped today by her rider’s useful 5lbs claim. King Of The Picts is an interesting purchase for Patrick Mullins and while he will probably do well to win on this comeback run, could win from his 74 rating, having proven himself a smart hurdler in the past. Stablemate Wood Breizh was well held at Tipperary latest and doesn’t appear to be ahead of the handicapper.
