At this meeting last year the same connections had a runner-up in a maiden hurdle when Crazyheart finished behind the useful Last Goodbye. You can be sure that Paul Nolan didn't drag Cresus De Grissay all the way to County Clare for his point-to-point at Belharbour, if he didn't think he had a nice horse. Whilst the chestnut didn't come up to expectations then, on his sole appearance in public back in February, he's surely better than that. Indeed Nolan said of his charge in an Irish Field stable tour prior to his run: "He is a gorgeous big horse that is very forward. He jumps super and he does things very well at home. He will be a better horse for a summer's grass, but his homework is good and he looks a nice prospect."
