FormscanBy Tom Weekes - ORNUA might be able to improve for his recent chase debut outing and win here. He is a proven performer over hurdles, having won twice in that sphere, and competed in some hot hurdle races in the past season. He was well enough held on chase debut at Killarney but is capable of building on that run. Roconga is rated 130 and has vast chase experience but it is disappointing he has yet to win in eight chase starts. He comes here fit and well though and is likely to be involved at the business end. Veinard is a useful hurdler and ran well when second on his only chase start last February and is also capable of getting involved today. Sharps Choice makes his seasonal reappearance and while he is likely to be well schooled for his chase debut, he does need to improve from his hurdle form to win today. Gangster has solid Graded placed form in the past and but was a disappointing beaten favourite at Kilbeggan in April and now need to return to his best.
