Formscan By Thomas Weekes - UN BEAU ROMAN may provide Patrick Mullins with his crucial 73rd winner of the year here. He ran twice in France and on his latest start 13 months ago (the long absence is no real concern, presumably given time to mature being so young) was beaten by the smart Un Beau Matin. The selection is Grade 1 entered at Christmas and while that is a huge step up, he should prove hard to beat in this. Totally Couture ran a solid race latest at Navan and looks a reliable type who should prove the selection's biggest danger. Five time point to point winner Onefortheroad Mac is interesting in that connections send him over hurdles now while nine year old Moyas Charm (whose rider does claim 5lbs) might struggle to win.
