Formscan By Gary Carson - Luke Dempsey takes a valuable 7lb off FASTIDIOUS and he may be able to strike here. He gained a deserved maiden victory when scoring at Gowran Park in September and makes his first start for Michael O'Callaghan now. He was placed on testing conditions but seems to prefer a better surface so the all-weather should suit him and he looks the type that could improve. Golden Shoe ran well in a rated race here last time having scored over a mile here previously. He looks on a fair mark judged on his most recent effort and looks a danger. Curl Cat represents the in-form Cleary yard and was a good winner on his penultimate start. He was third off his revised mark with a 10lb claimer up and may be high enough in the handicap now. Greek Canyon and Atticus Finch were both placed on their last starts here and are others to consider.
