Formscan By Gary Carson - LIKE MAGIC was just denied in a tight finish here last time and looks capable of landing one of these off this mark. He has slipped a long a from his two-year-old mark of 97 and and benefited from that slid when posting an improved performance here last week. He seems versatile enough trip wise and can get his head in front. Cookie Crumbles has run really well on her last two starts but seems to have benefited for the drop back to the minimum trip and back up in distance here others make more appeal. Whatyoumaycallit ran much better back on this surface last week and looked like he would benefit from this slight step up in trip. He look a danger. Al Mancilia won over a mile here on her penultimate start but was well held off this higher mark last time and may need to come down a couple of pounds.
