The son of Henrythenavigator made little impact when slowly away on debut here in the maiden won by highly-touted stablemate Mars before being sent off favourite for a pretty hot maiden on Leopardstown’s Champion Stakes card. He found little under pressure inside the final furlong after making the running but is given another chance in an event where stable-companion Performance should also be noted in the market following a four-month break since his Cork debut. Tiger Stripes probably holds the best piece of form with his Railway Stakes third to Probably, and went close over course and distance last Friday on his first run since.
