Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - MEA PARVITAS stormed home to be beaten a head here 9 days back and with a bit of luck she might go a place better now. The three-year-old just failed to catch that battle-hardened grand-campaigner, Copper Dock on that occasion, and she got just a pound for that effort. It seems a matter of when and not if Michael Halford's charge sheds her maiden tag. The Copper Beach Stables operator said of the Oasis Dream filly earlier in the season: "She is a well-bred filly that should progress with experience. She is honest and tries hard." Of course Ocean Drift and Pierre D'Or have also gone down narrowly at this venue in recent times and they are much respected. Like Magic and Bangalore Diamond similarly have strong prospects of making the frame. Timar is a horse that continues to be of interest and it's encouraging to see Seamie Heffernan booked as the Halling gelding drops back in trip. It has to be said that handicap first-timer Fantastic Mystery would be of interest were she to come alive in the market.
