He’s taken quite a tumble in the ratings from a high of 98 just over two years ago and recent efforts here have indicated another win may not be a forlorn hope. He kept on into the placings behind Atticus Finch a fortnight ago and may end a long losing run. The handicapper has left Khyber Pass alone after opening his account last time over course and distance in a rated race, and riding arrangements suggest he’s preferred to stablemate Dimitar. Cash Or Casualty likes to force the pace, and the tactics just paid off when holding on gamely here earlier this month. Bendzoldan was also prominently ridden when completing a hat-trick last summer, and is ideally drawn in stall one to adopt a forcing role.

Subsequently, the excess over 85 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse.
