Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - With nine successes already under his belt, SOLO PERFORMER owes nobody anything at this stage but perhaps he's ready to strike again. Five of the seven-year-old's wins have been achieved at this venue and his last run here, a fortnight back, could well give him the winning of this. On that occasion, in a very well contested affair, Harry Rogers' charge finished a half a length and a head off Aladdins Cave and King Of Aran. A reproduction of that, or indeed his previous effort when third also, behind Ansgar (re-opposes), would give Solo Performer every chance of landing another victory. Ansgar got nine pounds for that win and that obviously makes life tougher for him. Hot Prospect has been hurdling. It'll be a fair effort on his part to defy ten stone. Solo Performer's stable companion, Elusive Ridge has every chance again, with Pat Smullen up. Eddie Lynam has a couple of each-way possibilities in Akasaka and Denny Crane. Jim Bolger's Cul Baire isn't going on the way I expected he might but he nevertheless has big hopes of reaching the frame now. Captain Cullen is another with a little squeak.
