Formscan By Gary Carson - A decent contest and PRIMA VISTA looks like he could be a nice type over fences. The gelding was a smart novice hurdler and didn't run too badly on his return to action at Navan a couple of weeks ago. He just looked like he might have needed the run there and with that outing under his belt he appeals here on his chasing debut. Aupcharlie is another chasing debutant that commands respect. Having finished third in the Cheltenham bumper he could have been expected to make a leading novice hurdler but just took time to find his feet over timber. It will be interesting to see how he takes to the larger obstacles. Carlingford Lough ran well at Galway behind a decent type in Lyreen Legend and commands respect as does Spot Fine, who chased home a good yardstick in Far Away So Close at Limerick. Bridgets Pet hasn't enjoyed the best of luck over fences on his first two tries but has shown enough to make him a big threat here with that experience a big plus. The same owner, Barry Connell, also has Pineau De Re but he would need to improve a good bit from his Thurles chasing debut while the same applies to Toner D'Oudairies, who was well held at Down Royal.
