Formscan By Alan Magee - A very tricky race to figure out with the sextet all posing different question marks%3B loss of form, lengthy absence and just not good enough. FORPADYDEPLASTERER is far from the force of old although it’s hard to credit that he has failed to win since landing the Arkle Chase at the Cheltenham Festival way back in 2009. However Tom Cooper’s charge has put up some cracking efforts in 17 outings since that memorable success, and this represents a great opportunity to get off the “cold list”. He was let down by some poor jumping in the Paddy Power Gold Cup last time. Berties Dream likes to force the pace and relishes this testing ground but needs to put a tame effort in the Munster National behind him. Oscar Time is also interesting but possibly best watched having run just once since runner-up in the 2011 Grand National, over hurdles here 12 months ago.
