Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - The conditions of this race make it difficult to take on CALL THE POLICE (dropping back in trip). The assessor says he's four pounds a better horse than Foildubh and he receives 7Ibs from John Ryan's representative in this. Call The Police went down to Hidden Cyclone on his reappearance at Gowran in November, form that gives him the edge on this opposition at these weights. Foildubh could easily put it up to the selection and you'd imagine with a bit of luck he should at least finish second. If Odonimee came back to her very best then she'd be a threat and blinkers are tried now. It would be a major surprise if the other pair could get involved.
