Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - STONEY, bought as a replacement for Schindlers Hunt (a dual Grade 1 winner and a great servant for connections until unfortunately killed at Aintree in 2010) would seem the obvious way to go here. This selection comes about on the back of the excellent run of form being enjoyed by the Dessie Hughes stable and the fact that the Stowaway five-year-old showed plenty on his debut 24 days back. That saw Stoney contest a Roscommon maiden hurdle and he caught the eye to finish a never dangerous fourth behind Miriam's Dream. How he goes in the market now will be all important. The well-bred Colgrave Sound is a big player on form whilst the same remark applies to Curvacious, though she has a mammoth break to overcome. Heath Hunter, Weliveinhope and My Boy Ivan all need a market check.
