Formscan By Alan Magee - SPEED DIAL has been unlucky not to collect in recent outings, and can gain a deserved win. Pat Hughes’ charge was hampered at a vital stage when just denied over this course and distance, before falling at the last with the race at his mercy in Clonmel. Another creditable effort at Thurles last time has not been overly penalised by the handicapper. Mollys Captain has been knocking on the door in similar events, and may benefit from a more prominent ride on this sharper track having previously come home well at Navan. Marshim, a course and distance winner in October, is closely enough matched with the selection on running at Thurles last month.
