FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Regally bred CAREFULLY might be able to get off the mark and gain a valuable maiden win in this weak race. Out of an Irish 1,000 Guineas winner who is a sister to four Group winners including Gleneagles and from the family of Giant's Causeway, CAREFULLY has yet to show much worthwhile form but did at least beat 10 rivals (she dead-heated for 7th place) at Leopardstown on seasonal reappearance recently and can now improve a little from the run and may be suited by today's faster surface. She is also ridden by Donnacha O'Brien who has seemingly passed over his brother Joseph's Syrena. Syrena was useful last year and while she was frustrating to follow, did show consistent form. Her form this term hasn't been quite as strong but she did run a solid race at Leopardstown two runs ago and can get involved today with her rider claiming a useful 7lbs. Arabeska is a half-sister to an American Grade 3 winner and is another with claims. She showed ability on debut at Gowran last October before staying on nicely over 6f at Naas recently. The return to 7f today should bring about improvement today and today's all-weather surface could also suit. A Step Too Far is out of a Listed winner and ran well when fourth here over five furlongs last November. She missed the break then before staying on late over a possibly inadequate trip and could well progress over 7f today.
