After race at Galway Sun, 25th Oct, 2020 (1st)

Jack gave him a super ride and the horse just took him there,. He jumped big and silly early on but Jack seems to click with him. It would have been silly not to run with the race being so close to home and we have to make use of his mark. A lot of thanks have to go to Gerry Lynch (former trainer, now retired) for sending him my way. The owners (the Kellys) are from the north and the only pity is that they can’t be on track to see him winning.

I’m not tall but I’m stocky and I felt if I got a few years on the Flat I’d be happy. I just got out my (National Hunt) licence with Joseph O’Brien and I’ve been there since October. I'm delighted for Evan and I'm very friendly with his father Iggy. This horse will go for another handicap now and tip away on that ground. I was hopeful coming today as he was second here last year so it's horses for courses. We left the tongue-tie off him and left him with nothing on him and didn't even put a cross-noseband on him and it seemed to work.
