"He's a good jockey (Killian Leonard). In fairness to the lads who have ridden him recently he's had lousy draws," reflected trainer Pat Martin after completing a Dundalk double with Ishebayorgrey in the Kennedy's Bar & Restaurant Dundalk Handicap.

Following on from his success with Adieux (Wayne Lordan) earlier, Ishebayorgrey completed a 71/1 brace for Martin with a one length win over Grey Danube

It was then a short head, a nose, and a short head back to the third, fourth and fifth, Alcatraz Sheisdiesel and Rivellino

"He can get free when he's on the outside and tonight we were delighted to be drawn on the inside," further explained Martin.

"If he switches off in the first two or three furlongs he's a different horse. Killian said he settled and halfway through the race he started to get on to it.

"He did it well tonight. Ray (Moore, owner) is a great supporter and he'll party tonight, he's well able to do that!

"He's been a smashing servant this fella. He tries everything and rarely doesn't turn up.

"He always wants to race hard and if he's drawn wide he uses himself. You can whinge about draws but they can be crucial and we were delighted to see the low draw.

"He's very consistent and I thought we had a great chance of turning it around with the favourite as he went up a good bit. It's great that it happened."
