Sizing John will face a maximum of seven rivals when he bids for a festival double in the Coral Punchestown Gold Cup on Wednesday.

Jessica Harrington's Cheltenham Gold Cup hero heads a select list for the Grade One event, with 2015 Cheltenham hero Coneygree one of his most notable rivals in the three-mile feature.

Willie Mullins' Djakadam finished fourth at Cheltenham, with Henry de Bromhead's Champagne West (ninth) and the Gordon Elliott-trained Outlander, who finished 10th, also reopposing.

Flemenstar, Irish Cavalier and Zabana make up the list of possible contenders.

A total of 25 horses are still in the mix for the three-mile Irish Daily Mirror Novice Hurdle including Mullins' Augusta Kate and Let's Dance, who were first and second in a Fairyhouse Grade One on Easter Sunday.

Mullins also has Albert Barlett winner Penhill in the mix, while Presenting Percy could step up in class for Pat Kelly following his Pertemps Final success at Cheltenham.

Elliott's Cheltenham Champion Bumper winner Fayonagh leads the way in the Punchestown Champion I.N.H. Flat Race while Harrington's Someday, who was a late withdrawal at Prestbury Park, may finally get his Grade One chance.
