Baby Power (10s into 7s) made it 13th time lucky to get off the mark in the Naasracecourse.com Handicap.

The daughter of Frozen Power ran well at a big price in a huge field at the Curragh nine days ago and that left her spot on for this five and a half furlong assignment.

Owned and bred by Bernard Caldwell, well-known in his stable staff representative role, the five-year-old is trained by his son Garry in Enfield.

Here she got there in the final hundred yards to defeat Dash D’Or by a head.

"She ran well in the Curragh and then went to Down Royal and got struck into. She got a bit of time off and we ran her back maybe a bit quick at the Curragh a few weeks ago but she was bang on today," said the winning trainer.

"Chris was happy with her. She was in a lovely position and won well enough at the line. She's a bit funny to train and is not the easiest in the world so we'll take her home and hopefully go again in a few weeks.

"She'll go on any ground but needs luck in running as there is a certain way of riding her. I'm delighted for Bernard more than anything as he's been very patient."

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Takeachancejimmy trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
