After winning the first with Time For Bucks Brian O'Connell and Shay Barry doubled up in the third, as Patsio (5/1) just held on to win the Tramore Racecourse On Facebook Handicap Hurdle.

The seven-year-old son of Moscow Society finally got off the mark over flights at Tipperary earlier this month and he followed-up here carrying top-weight.

Having chased the leaders in the early stages he was fourth after halfway.

He made progress into second after the third last and led before the next. Despite being strongly pressed on the run he just held on to win by a short head. Seeyouallincoppers (7/2) had to settle for second under Bryan Cooper for Gordon Elliott while 20/1 chance Cnoc Na Sioga (Ryan Treacy for John Ryan) was a further four lengths back in third. Crown Theatre was sent off the 2/1 favourite but he could only manage fifth under Andrew Lynch for Henry De Bromhead.

Barry, who was recording his first double, said afterwards: "He had been knocking on the door up until Tipperary. He was very consistent without getting his head in front.

"I would have been disappointed today had he been beaten. Brian said he probably got there a bit too soon on him but we came out the right side of it anyway.

"Hopefully he will keep progressing and he will probably keep going for the summer."
