Put The Kettle on brought up a double for Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore with a facile victory in the Packie Downey Memorial Rated Novice Chase in Tipperary.

The 6/4 favourite had her rivals cooked after the second last and she stretched clear at the last.

She came in by seven and a half lengths from Cooldine Bog at 3/1.

Henry de Bromhead said: “She’s a lovely mare and it’s great for everyone involved in her. She jumped great and Rachael was brilliant on her.

“That was the main race for the moment and I’m not sure where we will go next. Plenty of the syndicate go to Cheltenham in November so we might look at something there.”

This was Put The Kettle On s third win in a row.
