Brave Display is entered up again at Navan on Sunday and he began what could be a good weekend by coming home in front in the Hen & Stag Packages At Dundalk Stadium Handicap.
Ronan Whelan 's mount equipped with a visor for the second time, did well from his outside draw in stall ten for this seven furlong event.
The Requinto gelding was gritty in the end to beat the favourite Buddha Boy by a neck.
They left Olly's Folly three and a quarter lengths back in third.
Ronan Whelan said: "He jumped well and travelled the last day and seven was probably just as far as he wanted. Dropping back to six obviously suited.
"The wide draw was a little bit of a worry but he was good and professional. He got out good and smart, travelled and he saw out the six well there. That's probably his ideal trip.
"Patrick (Prendergast, winning trainer) was hopeful. His words on the phone to me were that if overcame the draw he thought he would win. He was spot on."
R.P. Cleary, rider of D K Travel trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly.
