Brosnan placed a few times in England for Noel Quinlan and Giles Bravery, came good on her third start since joining Johnny Levins this autumn when landing division 2 of the irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap at Dundalk.

The only three-year-old in the 12-runner field, she made good headway on the outer early in the straight before getting the better of a protracted battle with well-backed 2/1 favourite Credit The Giver

Brosnan, friendless in the market and sent off at 14/1, prevailed by a head under Gary Carroll with Tortueuse two and a quarter lengths back in third.

Credit The Giver's rider Donnacha O'Brien was given a two days suspension for a breach of Regulation 10 3 (f) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency

Levins said, ""That's brilliant. I'm delighted for Duncan and Lynne McGregor who are new owners to me. I have to thank my assistant John (Kavanagh) who was instrumental in getting the filly as he is a long-time friend of the McGregors.

"She's a lovely sweet little filly and there is no reason why she couldn't win again here in the coming weeks."
