Busy Flat Jockey Ian Brennan shouldn't mind a return trip to ride at Tramore having today secured a double from his first two rides at the venue, with Face Value in the Join The Tramore Supporters Club For 2013 Handicap.

Brennan, who was recording his first Irish double having had three previously in Britain, had earlier partnered Isben to win before Face Value's race.

Favourite Everything Zain with form figures of '2222', again had to settle for the runner-up spot having looked sure to score in the dip. However the 'jolly' looked reluctant in the closing stages and swished his tail under pressure, allowed Face Value a second chance. The winner edged ahead close home for a half length win.

Afterwards Face Value's trainer Ado McGuinness stated "he was dropping down in grade and I knew he would be competitive today; he won a good novice hurdle at Galway and he is much lower rated on the flat.

“He's not the fastest of horses but Ian gave him a great ride. He'll mix it between Flat and hurdles now and he might jump a fence next year.

“Ian (Brennan) had his first ride around here on John Murphy's winner (Ibsen) so he is 100% around here now! He's a great lad and is off to Dundalk now and then on to York tomorrow to ride Bubbly Bellini for us. He's also at Wolverhampton tomorrow night to ride Golan Heights for us!"
