Catleen scores for Mullins and Walsh

Catleen got off the mark for Willie Mullins when claiming the 2m3f handicap hurdle at Limerick.

The mare had finished second on her first start for the champion trainer at Tramore earlier this month but made no mistake this time.

Ruby Walsh tracked front-runner Rockers Field throughout before launching his challenge turning for home.

The 6/4 favourite jumped to the front two out and was always doing enough, after being asked for an effort before the last, to post a two-length success.

"She improved nicely from Tramore and I think she'll improve again," said Mullins.

"She's by Craigsteel so will probably like better ground. Her jumping was a big asset today.

"Ruby said she'd like better ground and to be covered up longer."
