Local trainer Eoin Doyle was in the winner’s enclosure this evening after he saddled Chebona Bula to land the Subaru At The Sweep Garage Maiden under Danny Grant at odds of 11/2.
Winning trainer Doyle said afterwards, “We bought him out of Ger Lyons and he thought he’d be good enough to win a maiden. We thought that maybe the ground would be a bit too fast for him.”
“She has been schooling well at home and she’ll go for a three year old hurdle shortly. He'll run again very soon.”
