Leading ante-post 1000 Guineas contenders Clemmie and Happily are in contention for the Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.

The Aidan O'Brien-trained pair are among three entries, alongside Butterscotch, who could represent Ballydoyle in the six-furlong Group One contest on the Rowley Mile, which the powerhouse yard won 12 months ago with Brave Anna.

Heading the home contenders is the Clive Cox-trained Heartache, who added to her Queen Mary Stakes success at Royal Ascot when bouncing back from a defeat in France with victory in the Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster.

The Mark Johnston-trained Threading could bid to make it three from three, having followed up her impressive maiden success at Goodwood with a win in the Lowther Stakes at York.

French interest is provided by the Matthieu Palussiere-trained Different League, who captured the Albany Stakes on her penultimate start.

The only supplementary entry received for the race was Eirene, from the yard of Dean Ivory.

Completing the list are Chica La Habana (Robert Cowell), Crossing The Line (Andrew Balding), Darkanna (Richard Fahey), Madeline (Roger Varian), Now You're Talking (Joseph O'Brien), Special Purpose (William Haggas), Treasuring (Ger Lyons), Betty F and Take Me With You (both from the yard of Jeremy Noseda).
