Innamorare got on top close home to land the spoils in the €30,000 fillies handicap for Gavin Cromwell.

Chris Hayes delivered the 7/1 shot to challenge inside the final furlong and she put her head in front in the last 50 yards to beat Waitaki by a neck in a tight finish.

The Intense Focus filly was making her second outing for Cromwell having been claimed for €17,000 out of a Gowran claimer last month.

She had met traffic problems when finishing mid-division on her first outing for her new yard at Navan late last month.

"It panned out grand and it is great to win a pot like that with her as she won what she cost back today,” said Cromwell.

“The owner Peter (Michael, from Dublin) had an eye on her (in the claimer at Gowran) and it worked out well.

"She'll go for something similar next and she could potentially be a black-type filly. We are a long way off that yet but who knows. She is progressive and could improve again."
