Grade 1 winning trainer Gavin Cromwell continues to work some magic with cheap 'cast-off' purchases and gained a third win with bargain buy Running In Heels in the Racing Again July 26th Handicap Chase at Limerick today.

Ridden by Ger Fox, the daughter of September Storm was winning her third race in six starts this year for Cromwell, since her 2,500GBP purchase in January.

Cromwell, who was recording his sixth winner in a fortnight, later commented “she is cheap now as she is after winning E25,000! She jumped much better today but is still cautious. They went very fast and she crept her way into it and she stays great.

“She'll have an entry at Kilbeggan next week but I'd say she more than likely go to Galway on the Sunday for a little three mile handicap hurdle — she just might get into it but it will be border-line.”
