Jack Davison is looking forward to a crack at the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot on Thursday with the light-raced Fresnel.

The Sea The Stars filly ran a fine race when fourth in the Musidora Stakes at York last month, having previously been a two-length fourth to Investec Oaks runner-up Pink Dogwood in the Listed Salsabil Stakes at Navan.

Davison, who has his string in fine heart at the moment, said: "Fresnel will go for the Ribblesdale.

"She's progressed with each and every run - I know we are competing with the big boys, but I’m really looking forward to Ascot.

"She ran well in the Musidora and has stepped forward since then.

"She's an absolute professional and you won't stress her out too easily. She travelled over well to York and took the whole occasion very well."
