We wondered would it be Keane (eventually 2nd on Thunder Crash or Smullen (4th on Bold Knight down the straight in the Crowne Plaza Race & Stay Handicap. Ellmarie Holden's My Direction finished best of all though, to take the spoils in the finale at Dundalk.

Oisin Orr did the steering on this fellow, and he was following up his on his course and distance success from three weeks back.

At the finish he was three parts of a length and a length up on Thunder Crash and Eagle Spirit

"He stuck at it well. I didn't think he had any hope turning in but he just flew home," said Miss Holden.

"He has plenty of ability. He was up the weights a bit tonight and I thought that might go against him.

"He won well and Oisin knows him inside out. We'll keep him on the go here and pick out something again in two or three weeks."
