The fourth two-year-old race of the year in Ireland is down for decision with the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Median Auction Maiden making for an interesting starter at Dundalk.

No less than four of the sires represented in this seven runner affair are in their first season with runners, and indeed in the case of Elzaam and Power their initial representative goes in this five furlong dash.

There has been plenty of chat about Coolmore Stud-based Power's progeny. No doubt the Ballydoyle team will be keen to get him off to a flier with the Seamie Heffernan-partnered French-bred Peace Envoy

Aidan O'Brien reportedly has three Power juveniles under his guidance, and he's described them as strong, hardy, clean-winded horses that have gotten stronger with training.

Drawn beside Peace Envoy (a 125,000 Euro yearling) for this assignment, in stall five, is Ger Lyons' Elzaam colt, King Electric It'll be fascinating to see what the market makes of this Sean Jones-owned and Colin Keane-ridden contender.

The other 'freshmen' stallions with a chance of getting their names up in lights in this event, are Sayif with Goodluck Joey and Sir Prancealot with Terrific Feeling

The benefit of a run to a two-year-old can't be underestimated, so Terrific Feeling, fifth at the Curragh last month, and the only one of these with experience under his belt, is a big player for Kieren Fallon.

Hugin, like the aforementioned Peace Envoy, cost 125,000 Euros as a yearling. He can make an impression in the Fitri Hay colours for Wayne Lordan and David Wachman.

Elsewhere, the Bet On The Grand National At Titanbet.co.uk Maiden is of interest, with Johnny Murtagh's 81-rated Eddystone Rock and Aared seeming the chief protagonists. The latter, assessed as a 75 performer, only went down by a nose over the course and distance recently.

Meanwhile, the best of the action otherwise comes in the Bet & Watch At Titanbet.co.uk Handicap, and the 6 Places On The Grand National At Titanbet.co.uk Handicap. Seven pound claimer Daniel Redmond has a chance in both, aboard Go Kart and Mandatario
