Dynamic McNamara keeps fine run going

Dynamic Approach found market-support (7s into 5s) for the Ladbrokes Cheltenham Bumper Series Flat Race and he proved two and a half lengths too good for another promising type, Under The Arch

The victorious son of Milan led and despite being a little green going out with a circuit to go, Robbie McNamara (his brother Andrew had earlier won on Ad Idem was able to get enough out of his mount in the final furlong to prevail.

Eddie Hales trains this well-bred sort for the Connors family from Dungarvan and he said: "I have a good bunch of four-year-olds and this fellow is next years horse really."

Speaking on the current state of the market Hales joked: "With this recession you can't sell a horse now. Only for I have my modeling work I'd be fked!"

This was a welcome winner for Hales, his first on the track since May 2008 (Miss Otis Regrets).

The 8/11 favourite Laganbank was in trouble from before the straight and he ended up in third.
