Gordon Elliott's ultra-consistent chaser Toner D'Oudairies has a good opportunity to get back in the winner's enclosure as he faces six rivals in the Imperial Call Chase at Cork on Sunday. The Gigginstown House Stud-owned seven-year-old has struck five times since winning at Fairyhouse on this weekend 12 months ago and has also run some tremendous races in defeat, not least when finishing a fine fourth in the Grade One Melling Chase at the Grand National meeting at Aintree earlier this month. He faces a far less taxing assignment in this weekend's Grade Three event and is likely to be a hot favourite in the hands of Davy Condon. Paul Nolan's 2011 Cheltenham Festival hero Noble Prince is perhaps not the force he once was, but he looked a little more like his old self when winning a Listed prize at Thurles earlier in the campaign and he was far from disgraced when seventh in the Coral Cup back over hurdles at Cheltenham last month. On ratings, he would appear the chief threat to the Elliott runner. Philip Fenton saddles the consistent Caim Hill, while the Michael O'Donovan-trained Supreme Doc returns after only making it as far as the first fence in the Fox Hunters' Chase over the Grand National fences at Aintree. Your Busy, Carrigeen Lechuga and Liz's D'Estruval complete the line-up.
