Elliott looking for Hero to shine

In his latest BoyleSports blog, Gordon Elliott is hoping that No More Heroes can provide him with Cheltenham success in the RSA Chase.

The Presenting gelding was a shade unlucky when a close-up third to Martello Tower in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at the the Festival 12 months ago but has really impressed since sent chasing this term.

The Gigginstown-owned seven-year-old is unbeaten over fences with Grade 1 victories in both the Bar One Racing Drinmore Novice Chase and when upped to three miles in the Neville Hotels Novice Chase at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting.

Elliott said “At the moment, the main horse I’m excited about sending to Cheltenham is No More Heroes.

"He’s done everything we have asked of him and everyone knows how I feel about him. He’s a really good horse and I hope he shows what he’s capable of in three weeks’ time."
