Enright suffers broken leg at Tramore

Mark Enright suffered a broken leg after a fall in the fourth race at Tramore tonight.

The jockey came to grief when Annadiamond crashed out at the fourth in the Michael Guiry Auctioneers Maiden Hurdle.

It was later reported that he had fractured his right tibia and also suffered lacerations to his face.

Brian O'Connell picked up a three day whip ban in the second race on the card.

He was found to have used the whip with the arm above shoulder height on Company Coming as he finished second in the Noel Cummins Bookmaker Beginners Chase.

He must attend RACE for one day's tuition on the use of the whip.
