The Eddie Harty trained Fahamore recorded back to back wins in the Guinness Handicap Hurdle at Limerick.

The lightly raced 5yo son of Kayf Tara failed to score on three outings since last year’s success and was racing for the first time since April this afternoon.

Sent off at 4/1 under Niall Madden he hit the front before the last and he stayed on strongly on the run-in to score easily by eight lengths. See Double You had to settle for second at 10/3 for James Woods and Ronan McNally while Cyprusormilan (10/1) was a further five and a half lengths back in third for the double seeking duo of Jimmy & Paddy Mangan.

The Gordon Elliott trained Raajih was sent off the 3/1 favourite (was 6/1 this morning and backed from 7/2 on-course) under Davy Russell but he could only manage a disappointing seventh.
