Trainer Pat Fahy is looking forward to sending Dunvegan over fences this season.

The grey gelding proved a smart novice hurdler and was last seen finishing third in a hot novice event won by Gardens Of Babylon at Punchestown in April.

Chasing is the aim this season with the six-year-old but he won't be seen in action for at least six weeks.

“Dunvegan will go chasing. He’s just started schooling over fences but it will be at least another six weeks before he’s out,” reported Fahy.

“We’ll get him away somewhere to work him. He came back in great condition and is something to look forward to.”
