The Johnny Feane trained Youarewonder defied top weigth in the opening Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Nursery at Killarney today, storming home late to win under jockey Colin Keane.
The son of Thewayyouare had plenty to do with a furlong to race but, on the outer, stayed on strongly in the closing stages to eventually record a half length win over Sweetasever
Feane wasn’t present but Keane later said “Johnny (Feane) said he would stay well and they really came back to me in the last half-furlong. The bit of cut in the ground suited him.”
