Galway market movers

Learn is developing into one of the best backed horses on the opening evening of the Galway Festival, with the Aidan O'Brien-trained juvenile now challenging Riviera Poet for favouritism in the claregalwayhotel.ie & Ramada Hotel Card Club (C & G) EBF Maiden.

The Galileo youngster, a promising third to stable-companion David Livingstone on his debut at the Curragh last month, is now a best-priced 11/10 with Paddy Power and Boylesports having been available at 7/4 this morning.

The other main market move during the day has been for Lovers Peace in the 7.45, galwaybayhotel.com and radissonhotelgalway.com Handicap.

The Edmond Kent-trained filly has been slashed from 10/1 to half those odds with William Hill for the mile and a half event, 9/1 to 4/1 with Paddy Power and is as low as 7/2 with Victor Chandler.

The featured carlton.ie/galwaycity (Q.R.) Handicap - formerly known as the "GPT" has been relatively quiet in comparison with no major move for any of the 20 runners.

Dermot Weld 's Natural High is the general 4/1 favourite, with some interest in Oneeightofamile (12/1-8/1 with Powers).
